![]() so i don't understand what the purpose even is for this export option.Ĭount yourself lucky. once you choose DV stream, all the settings grey out. and there was no settings to tinker with. it was blocky, pixelated, and aliased to hades and back. it looked like a 60p video stretched to 480p. There is standard def, and there is whatever this visual trash is that avid passes as standard def. But you're going to end up with that anyway. once installed the file imported into premiere fine and was fully functional. so evidently the PE has the avc intra codec. its "Avid Codecs PE" i had installed the Avid Codecs LE on my system, but that did nothing. got with one of the guys in IT and he put an exe from the avid software on a thumbdrive. it looks like the problem was more or less on the avid side. says its 1920, but premiere reads it as 1440. *scratches head* i downloaded the avid codecs, but none of those mattered.Ĭomplete name : H:\Temp\Video Mixdown AGAIN 2.movįormat profile : High 10 settings, CABAC : Yes ![]() So they just have some codec pack i am missing. When i come home, it says "codec missing or unavailable" *scratches head* so what is the codec that i'm missing? and where can i get a free download? nor any real legit disc authoring software) but i want to work with this file at home so i can do an export to encore (no encore at work. At work we use Avid Newscutter, and panasonic P2 cameras,i did an export and it works fine on premiere at work.
